At PLASMA PLACE, helping others does not end with donor beds. We have been cooperating with charitable organizations throughout the country for a long time and supporting projects that have a real impact on people’s lives. And that is why we are happy to start a new cooperation with the Be Charity Endowment Fund of Bára Nesvatbová and Pavlína Saudeková, which supports the long-term ill and disadvantaged.
At the beginning of the partnership, we handed over a donation of CZK 300,000 to the fund. Thanks to this amount, the fund purchased one of the two transcutaneous capnometers for the Paediatric Clinic of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University and the University Hospital in Motol.
This gentle device helps doctors to continuously monitor oxygenation and ventilation in young patients – especially children with muscular dystrophy or congenital respiratory defects. Doctors can thus respond to changes in health without the need for blood draws, which is a huge relief for children and their parents.
But our help does not end there. You will soon find Be Charity money boxes at all 10 PLASMA PLACE centres. In each region, we will select a specific small patient to whom you will be able to contribute any amount for treatment or necessary aids.
We would like to thank the Be Charity Endowment Fund for their tireless work for children throughout the Czech Republic. And to Bára Nesvadbová for a nice visit to our center and an open heart, thanks to which projects that really change lives are created.

You don’t have to be a Czech citizen but you need to have long-term residency, a permanent address and valid health insurance. You can donate once every 14 days at any of our centers.
