The Hybrid for a Hero contest has quickly become one of the most popular events among you donors. The great interest, hundreds of competition cards in the money boxes and the enthusiasm with which you participated showed us only one thing – this competition deserves to be continued.
And so there’s good news: from February 1, 2026, the Hybrid for the Hero is back again, and with it the chance to win a modern hybrid Kia Niro.
The winner of the last year was Mrs. Helena Gruškovská, who came to the Mototechna showroom together with her husband and son to get the new car. Blood plasma donation is a family affair for them and they visit our center in Hradec Králové together.
And who will we give the prize to next? Maybe just you!
HOW TO WIN A KIA NIRO?
- The competition takes place from February 1 to July 31, 2026.
- After each donation on this date, take the competition card to the reception.
- Fill out the competition card and throw it into the piggy bank at the reception.
- After the end of the competition, we will draw a winner from all the cards.
- The winner will receive a rental of a Kia Niro car with a hybrid drive for half a year.
Remember that the following applies: The more donations, the greater the chances of winning.

WE HELP TWICE WITH THE CHILDREN’S TRANSPORT FOUNDATION
Become an even bigger hero and help children who have lost their parents due to a traffic accident or have permanent consequences from it. Donate to the Children’s Transport Foundation, with which we have been cooperating for a long time. At all our branches, you will find money boxes into which you can throw any amount – whether you donate the entire financial compensation for the donation or a few crowns, every help counts. Last time, we handed over an amazing CZK 70,000 to the children, which we collected together with our donors throughout the country in half a year.

Healthy people between the ages of 18 and 65, weighing more than 50 kg.
You don’t have to be a Czech citizen but you need to have long-term residency, a permanent address and valid health insurance. You can donate once every 14 days at any of our centers.
