We support Czech padel and we are happy that we were able to welcome successful athletes who came to donate blood plasma after winning championship titles.
At the PLASMA PLACE center in Prague’s Anděl, we welcomed Czech padelists who have had an extremely successful season. At this year’s Czech Padel Championship 2026, Leon Lazarev with Nikolas Fedasek and Kateřina Hajná with Adéla Vašíčková rejoiced in gold medals in the main categories. The championship took place at the beginning of June in Vestec near Prague and according to the Czech Padel Federation it was a record year.
However, the visit of successful athletes to us was not only symbolic. Some of the players decided to set an example and donated blood plasma. They showed that helping others can be done in many ways – not only by great performances on the court, but also by concrete actions that can have a real meaning for patients dependent on drugs made from blood plasma.
As a thank you and congratulations on their sporting successes, we handed over a voucher to the players for a wellness stay at the Kempinski Hotel in the High Tatras.
We congratulate the Czech padelists on their achievements, thank you for visiting our center and for donating plasma and wish them many more successes in the new season.
What exactly is padel?
Padel is a dynamic racket sport that has been rapidly gaining popularity in recent years. It is played in pairs on a smaller court surrounded by glass walls, which are part of the game. At first glance, it may resemble tennis or squash, but it has its own rules, pace and atmosphere. This makes it attractive for both professional gamers and recreational athletes.
Since this season, we have been supporting Czech padel and we are pleased to be part of a sport that combines energy, teamwork, determination and fair play. These values are also close to us at PLASMA PLACE.
